JLPT Exam Preparation ​

Beginner level (equivalent to JLPT N5/N4)

- Gain basic everyday conversation skills and the ability to read and write simple sentences.

- Become familiar with the structure of Japanese and establish

   a good study habit.

Intermediate level (equivalent to JLPT N3/N2)

- Develop vocabulary and grammar skills to handle abstract           topics.

- Ability to understand the outline of newspaper articles and           technical texts.

Advanced level (equivalent to JLPT N1)

- Ability to read and understand highly logical and specialized    texts

- Ability to fully understand complex contexts and subtle            nuances

- Ability to establish Japanese language skills for academic

  and business settings

Individual Differences and Efficiency: Study time varies greatly depending on the student's native language, learning environment, individual ability, concentration level, and the quality of the learning materials. The above is a general guideline.

JLPT Relationship: The study time required to pass the JLPT is generally estimated at approximately 450-700 hours for beginners (N5-N4) and approximately 2,500-3,000 hours in total for intermediate and advanced levels (N3-N1). The hours in this proposed curriculum are based on these standard guidelines.

Time allocation: As you progress to the intermediate and advanced levels, it becomes more important to allocate time to output activities such as reading comprehension and writing rather than input learning of grammar and vocabulary.
